Responsible Gaming

Tiranga Game and similar colour-prediction games are 18+ entertainment that involve real money and real risk. They are designed to be fast and engaging, which is exactly why it is easy to spend more time and money than you intended. This page is our standing reminder to keep it fun and within your control. It is not a treatment resource, but it points you toward help.

Stay in control

Set a budget

Decide what you can afford to lose before you play, and never add more to chase a loss.

Set a time limit

Fast rounds make hours vanish. Use a timer and take regular breaks.

Keep stakes small

Flat, small stakes keep sessions fun; big bets and 'all-in' moments end them badly.

It is not income

No prediction or trick guarantees wins. Never treat gaming as a way to earn or repay debt.

Be honest with yourself

If you are hiding play, borrowing to fund it, or feeling anxious about it, it is time to stop.

Ask for help

Talk to someone you trust, and reach out to a support service — you are not alone.

Warning signs

Consider taking a break or stopping if you notice any of these:

  • Spending more money or time than you planned, regularly.
  • Chasing losses — betting more to win back what you lost.
  • Borrowing money, or using funds meant for bills, to play.
  • Feeling anxious, irritable or secretive about your playing.
  • Letting gaming affect work, study, sleep or relationships.

Getting help

If gaming is no longer fun or feels out of control, step away and seek support. In India you can talk to a doctor or a mental-health professional, and confidential helplines such as the government Tele-MANAS mental-health helpline (14416) can help with the stress and compulsion side of problem gaming. Tell a family member or friend too — support makes a real difference. If you are in immediate crisis, contact local emergency services.

Protecting minors

Real-money gaming is strictly for adults 18+. If a young person uses your device, enable device-level parental controls and keep your login details private.

Only you can decide to play. If you do, keep it affordable and fun — and stop the moment it is not.

Practical tools to stay in control

Good intentions fade mid-session, so set limits before you start and make them hard to override:

  • Deposit limit: decide a fixed amount per day or week and never top up beyond it — not even 'just once more' to chase a loss.
  • Time limit: set an alarm for a fixed session length and stop when it rings, win or lose.
  • Loss limit: pick a figure that ends the session immediately if you reach it.
  • Win target: decide in advance to withdraw and stop once you are a set amount ahead.
  • Cooling-off: if a session felt out of control, take a deliberate break of several days before you play again.

Taking a longer break or stopping

If limits are not enough, remove the temptation: delete the app, block gaming sites with a content filter on your phone and network, and hand day-to-day money management to someone you trust for a while. There is no shame in stopping — it is the strongest move you can make.

Where to get help in India

If gaming is affecting your money, mood, sleep or relationships, please reach out. The government's Tele-MANAS mental-health helpline is free and confidential on 14416 (or 1-800-891-4416) and can help with the stress and compulsion that problem gaming brings. You can also speak to a doctor or counsellor, and telling a family member or friend makes recovery far easier. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
